Westhills South is a licensed assisted living facility ideal for those people who require some assistance with the activities of daily living but prefer their own space and privacy. Westhills South is a special combination of housing, support services and health related services that enhance quality of life and promotes independence.

Westhills South is adjacent to the Westhills Village Apartments and Health Care Facility, and is an integral part of the Westhills Village Retirement Community. The primary goal of assisted living is to meet the need that exists between total independent living and licensed health care.

Westhills South Assisted Living Facility provides 24 hour staffing to meet scheduled and unscheduled needs, in a way that promotes maximum dignity, quality of life and independence for each resident.

Accommodations are private suites. A spacious commons area and outdoor patio area offers ample space for visiting with other residents, family members and friends, and for group activities and special entertainment. Each suite is furnished with the resident’s personal belongings, including linens and bedding to provide a homelike environment.

Dietician approved quality meals are provided in the central dining room with snacks and refreshments always available.

The facility's Medical Director has involvement in Assisted Living Operations.

Facilities are conveniently located just a short distance from The Rapid City Regional Hospital and major medical facilities.

Westhills South has an open door visiting policy and welcomes all guests.
