Job Description:

CNA provides or assists residents with daily care needs including bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, making beds, getting into and out of bed, turning in bed, assuring clothing is clean and properly marked, serving and collecting food trays, encouraging and/or assisting with feeding, answering call lights, transporting residents or assisting them in ambulation, and assisting with admission and orientation of residents to the facility environment.  This may also include assisting residents in performing restorative exercises, taking and recording vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rates and weights.  Provides daily care activities according to established procedures and with consideration for the residents' choices, privacy, dignity and independence.
