The activities department at Clarkson Mt. View Healthcare is managed by a qualified Activity Coordinator. We offer a wide variety of activities to meet the needs and interests of each individual resident. Our activities are planned and adapted to meet individual needs. When a new resident is admitted to the facility, they are assessed on the basis of physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and social needs.

We offer activities for a variety of group sizes, including individuals, pairs, small groups, large groups and unstructured activities.

Our residents continue to be involved in personal living enrichment activities.

We have a large fish aquarium that our residents love to sit and watch as well as frequent visits from pets that give us many hours of enjoyment.

Our activity room includes a kitchenette where residents can be involved in cooking & baking events.

The nice weather finds us taking outings in our van to a wide variety of sites throughout Rapid City and the Black Hills.

Our volunteer services assist with a variety of tasks, socialization, events and activities. Our volunteers consist of:
