Westhills Village Health Care Facility

The Westhills Village Health Care Facility is a vital part of the Village community. Long and short-term skilled nursing care is provided in this forty-four bed state licensed, Medicare approved, facility. Both private and semi-private rooms are available.

A physician's order is required for admittance. Medical care, therapy services and dietary needs are provided following the physician's directions. Residents and their families remain involved in the care and planning process. A Social Service Coordinator, Activity Director, Director of Nursing, Therapist and Dietary Aide meet on a scheduled basis to plan residents' needs. This "plan of care" meeting also involves the residents and their families.

A professional nurse is always on duty. Nurses, certified assistants and health care professionals do an outstanding job of providing the best possible care, a friendly home-like atmosphere and personal attention to individual needs.

Consultant Services are available and include a podiatrist, pharmacist and registered dietician. The facility's Medical Director is involved in Health Care Operations.

The Health Care Facility residents are encouraged to bring personal items to make their room feel more like home, (room furnishings, radio and/or TV).

A high percentage of our clients utilize rehabilitation services and return to their independent living environment.

Our facilities are conveniently located just a short distance from The Rapid City Regional Hospital and major medical facilities.

An Open Door Visitor Policy encourages family members and friends, including small children, to visit frequently.
