Westhills Village is all about choices. The first option is a life care contract. The cost of the contract depends on the size of the Apartment that you desire. There are two contracts from which to choose -- the Original Plan and the Return on Investment. The Resident puts a 5% deposit down when filling out the application and pays the remainder of the contract upon move-in. The deposit is 100% refundable up until the time you move in. A monthly service fee covers one meal per day in the Dining Room; housekeeping every other week; weekly laundering of flat linens and towels; Apartment maintenance; all utilities except telephone; cable TV; and the use of all of the Village's amenities. A portion of the Residence Fee paid becomes a credit against your bill when you are no longer able to live in your apartment and need either Assisted Living or Health Care on a permanent basis. This credit amount never runs out.
A lease option is also available on our Apartments that does not involve the upfront investment. The lease involves a security deposit, which varies with the size of the Apartment, and a monthly service fee that covers the same services as listed above. An incentive is offered if you choose to switch from a lease to a contract within the first year of living at Westhills Village.
