The Westhills Village Foundation

Part of a Community of Care

The Westhills Village Foundation

“Where else can you donate to such a great cause, get to pick the cause you want to support, and watch your friends benefit from it and benefit from your own donation as well?”
Fred Cozad, Longtime Resident

We can’t express our THANKS enough to all those who have made such a difference with your generous donations and contributions to the Westhills Village Foundation.

It is always amazing to see the incredible results the Westhills Village Foundation makes at our Westhills community. Throughout the year, we hear so many great comments from those who reside here, those who work here, as well as those who come to visit, on the outcomes the Westhills Village Foundation has achieved.

All of us who support the Foundation can truly feel we have and continue to make a well-meaning difference. Every department and every area of the Westhills community continues to be affected in a positive way by the wide variety of support for a wide variety of projects. This past year has been an incredible year as we have enhanced services, provided academic/tuition support and addressed a multitude of needs.

Additionally, we have had some wonderful programs in which anyone can participate and make a difference through the donation of items, IRA accounts, and supporting great projects. This year, a major emphasis has been established with The Courtyard at Westhills Village project which we need and encourage your support on.

A good friend of ours – Fred Cozad – who was a long-time resident and Westhills Village Foundation Board Member used to say “Where else can you donate to such a great cause, get to pick the cause you want to support, and watch your friends benefit from it and benefit from your own donation as well?” This certainly applies to The Courtyard as well as so many other areas the Westhills Village Foundation supports.

We encourage your consideration and support, as every effort truly MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

Employee Helping Hands Fund

This fund was established by the Foundation to help provide financial assistance to current employees who have fallen on hard times or come upon an unforeseen personal emergency.

The Fund started in March 2016 and has already helped eight families! For example, an employee needed surgery and had no insurance so we helped with hospital bills; an employee had no phone so we helped with a prepaid phone; we helped an employee with rent so they were not evicted when a roommate left; an employee’s husband and son were hospitalized and we were able to help with some bills. These are just some examples of how your donations have really helped make a difference.
